MUTUAL MEALS!!!
Mutual Meals
Reciprocal Exchange • Community • Connection
Mutual Meals is a community initiative rooted in the power of reciprocal exchange. Twice a month, we gather for a free shared meal that centers connection, accessibility, and dignity—functioning as a moving channel for mutual aid.
Our Mission
Our work actively challenges "power-over" and "power-under" dynamics. We center those most impacted by systems of exclusion, including:
Indigenous folks and disabled people.
Women and people outside the gender binary.
Those with divergent lived experiences.
How it Works
Mutual aid is not charity; it is an ongoing practice of giving and receiving. We believe our wellness is interconnected.
Shared Space: We provide a consistently accessible community space for all.
Action-Oriented: Each gathering focuses on a specific mutual aid campaign, typically addressing housing and immediate safety needs.
**Transparency: **Donations are redistributed directly to the community, with accountability shared through posted updates.
Whether you contribute financially, socially, or simply by showing up, you are a vital part of the exchange.
